What: A Family Fun Day in support of Children At Risk.
The event is to Celebrate Kids Wellness, Fitness Activities Around Town and The Environment! Children will be given planet passports to travel around activities at the event to get stamped. Kids can give their passports a super blast off by beginning their activities at home and around town by downloading their10-week-10k-fitness-log-20101 anytime and adding their activity points….The first 300 kids will be given free loot bags! Upon arrival at the event each child will receive a passport that will be stamped by participating in their choice of the following events:
Outdoor Fun The Runs:
- 1K Run/Walk around the scenic Nepean Trails . (parents or grandparents can join in free, strollers are welcome and will begin behind runners/walkers)-9am
- 5K walk Run/Walk around the scenic Nepean Trails- 930am
- 10K Run around the scenic Nepean Trails – 10am
